Overview

Mushy tells Wish he sees Santa Claus - Mr. Bateman - in Texas in the middle of August. Bateman is lost. He keels over. He, his wife Mag, and their nine-year-old boy, Danny, are on their way to New York. Danny won't last until Christmas.
