Mindy is rushed to the hospital following her seizure, and learns of brain damage stemming from past domestic abuse. As the group begins to get past the effects of withdrawal, they talk about the effect that money and friendship have on their happiness. After a run-in with the police, Tom Sizemore finally arrives at the clinic, but is not fully committed to remaining.

Tom finds it comforting to be with Heidi, but Drew closely monitors him, citing concerns over whether he might turn on her. Joey is observed to be tense and aggressive, and lashes out at the camera people. The group is taken to a junkyard, where they direct their aggression to derelict cars. Drew receives a called from Sex Rehab alumnus Kari Ann Peniche, who is in the throes of addiction to speed.
