This series tells a heartwarming story about the friendship, family and growth of three generations in four families in a quadrangle courtyard in Beijing from 1997 to 2001. As high school students, Xie Qiao, Qin Chuan and their friends and family experienced together the big and small events of this era, and faced many troublesome and happy events while they were growing up. The closeness and warmth of their neighbors became a precious treasure in their lives, and with this gift given to them over the years, the children grew up and moved towards a new era.
