Along the way he meets his former classmate Lawrence, a friendless nerd that he has a strong distaste for. In their search for the other rad teen, Lawrence and Waldon knock over a can of paint which is revealed to contain Jamal, now a genie, who offers the pair 3 wishes, one of which is used to travel 20 years into the future, 2005.
