Overview

This video lesson features examples of 5 games that teach history. Five older games were selected, which run on any computer and are affordably priced today. The video has two objectives. The first is to dispel the misconception that games are a form of childish entertainment without substance. The second is to raise awareness of the fact that historical readings and discourses are present in various media and consumer products, not just textbooks, technical books, specialized publications, and documentaries.
