“Germany’s Next Top Model” juror Kristian Schuller is planning the first big photo shoot on Derdesteen Beach in Cape Town. In oversized dresses, the models are supposed to hang on rings or balance on swings and look really elegant.

Moving into the model villa

In this episode, the aspiring models have to prove themselves in New York and show what they have learned so far on Germany's Next Top Model. The girls are also moving: finally off to the new model villa. After the candidates stayed in a designer hotel on Fifth Avenue in New York, they are now heading to the model villa. Now they have to prove everything they have learned so far in order to survive in New York. After all, only the best girls have a safe place in the new villa.

As a model you have to be prepared for anything. You also have to skillfully avoid nasty questions from journalists, and some girls would have made a real embarrassment of themselves. But preparing for the fashion world out there is now more necessary than ever, because now it's all about making it to the final! Of course, every job you get helps you score points with the jury, and the greater the resentment becomes.

The jury around top model Heidi Klum sends the girls to the track, now the questions are being asked like at school! Commercials, commercial shoots, photo shoots and a running job in Milan: the judges want to see what the girls have achieved so far. Because this is their last week together in the model villa, after that only three of the girls go to the finals and saying goodbye is very difficult!
