Overview

Rukn-ud-din and Shah Turkan worry about their position in the palace. Muiz provokes Mirza by speaking ill of Razia. During the royal feast, Uzma and Nadira praise Mirza in front of Iltutmish. Meanwhile, a provoked Mirza beats Muiz. Iltutmish commands Mirza to ask Muiz for forgiveness. He does so without defending himself. Mirza learns that Razia introduced him as her to-be-husband in spite of knowing of Sultan's disapproval. He is amazed by Razia's faith in their love.
